Default Prices are not out of line

Case and point, my 8800 purchase about 3 weeks after release date of Nov 8 2006. May not be as huge a jump in performance but single chip to single chip it is. (not sli)

I agree that prices are not out of line. They are simply more than I would pay

But then, I'm not a hardcore PC gamer.

Prices are not out of line. They're exactly what Nvidia said they would be.

However, Nvidia set the prices really really REALLY high for a single GPU card.
