The new nvidia's are out. So what are you going to do about it?
The GTX 280 is too steep for me... but I'm looking closely at the 9800GX2 for high performance at a more reasonable price. What are you going to do? |

Doing nothing atm. My GTX does fine for me at my native res. Besides - those prices just piss me the heck off. I'm hoping ATI's newest will give enough performance at a DECENT price to justify grabbing one.
If not - meh. I'm done with this upgrade bs. |

Nothing. This 8800gt runs what I play at 2304x1440 just great, usually with AA. Don't care much about Crysis as I don't like the mp side of the game...
Still want to see what the 4870 and x2 can do though ![]()

I'm waiting to see some concrete numbers on the ATI product. $650 is too much for me to spend just to find out a cheaper and better product followed shortly after. If no ATI product by my birthday next month, I'll splurge and get 2.

Nothing.
My current setup is plenty fast enough for now. When more games come out that raise the bar then I'll consider upgrading my video card. If I upgraded right now it'd only be for Crysis and maybe a few areas in Mass Effect and The Witcher. Not really worth $650.

I'm waiting to see that those monster 800SP units from good ole ATI are gonna do for half the price.....then I'll ebay the 8800GTX and buy whatever gives the best bang for the buck.

Nothing, my 9600GT is more then enough for the games I play or plan to play over the next year. At that point, I'll re-evaluate.
