GTX280 signal keeps going out with my HDTV

Problem: Display flashes on and off on my 47" 1080P LCD every 1-2-3 seconds it flashes for about 1 second and shows no signal when it goes black.

1: never has issues with any previous video card: (3850 3870x2 and i just removed a temp 7900gs.)

2: Installed latest drivers on nvidias site.

3: Tried changing the reso, refresh rate, and from P to I. still same issue.

4: Tried switching monitors around same thing. It only effects the 47"

5: Put my 7900gs back in no issues again.

6: the more I move my mouse the more the screen blanks out.

7: checked cable. Im using a DVI to HDMI cable.

Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: works fine with my 24" monitor. no issues at all and works well. Just dosnt like my LCD tv and all my other cards work 100% fine with it.

I also use an LCD TV as my main, I'll be picking up my card tonight from FedEx, and will also report any findings, however my LCD has a DVI in so I don't require a DVI-HDMI cable. I will be looking to replace this LCD in a little while with one of the newer Sammies at which point I will need to ensure DVI-HDMI works.

Anyways I'll report my findings tonight, here's hoping it's nothing major.

Well I was told it might be my cables compliancy. The cable I have (which I got from walmart) may not be what the GTx280 uses. I called EVGA and they said they will send me out one of the new DVI to HDMI adapters they got in with these cards. He said I should have it within 5-7 days. Hope that fixes it. Untell then Ill just game on my 24".

Yea im very sure thats what it is. I already have one on its way from EVGA. Thanks for that link too. I wonder why almost none of the cards have the adapter in the box. Now. Is there a certain HDMI cable im going to need or can I use one of the 4 or 5 cables I already have.

Could be a driver issue for 1920x1080? Wouldn't suprise me.

Running straight DVI everything is fine, however something odd I noticed is that it actually didn't detect my native res on my second monitor (1920x1200), I had to add this to the resolutions on my Sammy 244T in the nVidia control panel.
