Well I didn't buy the latest 790i MB for big $$$, bought this instead.

Call me crazy but I'd rather buy 2 $150 boards than 1 $300.

I was curious about this too. They have some great deals on open box MB, but the thought of a missing accessory worries me.

Curious to why you picked that MB over other Gigabyte MBs? I'll be ordering a new MB in the morning and there are so many to choose from that shopping for one over the last week or so has givin' me a frickin' headache. LOL I really like the eVGA nForce 750i FTW (despite what others say), but I have also been looking at Gigabyte MBs as well. I found one for $89 and another for $119. My only con about the Gigabyte MBs is the fact of no SLI option in the future and that is why I'm really leaning towards the 750i FTW. Hell, I don't know. Again, what is it about that MB that made you choose it over others? Thanks.

I hear ya about MB shopping, too many darn option and can be a PITA with gobs of guess work.

Skipped the 1st one cause no Raid; I plan to get some HDs in the next 5 months I hope.

Skipped the 2nd one cause I'm an idiot and thought DDR3(on mb I bought) would be better but after post research, it barely gains more than 4% at best. Least MY mb has the option I guess, can't hurt except the $20 more than this one.

Skipped the 3rd cause not interested in SLI and had wanted to try and stick with a more similar board/chipset to what I have now to make transfer(I'm not reformatting) of my winXP install less problematic.

Good luck on your choice.

I've been playing with idea of a DFI LP UT X48-T3R and some G Skill PC3 12800 ram. No I don't need it, and if do go that way I'll probably get a Q9550 as well. I'm also looking at getting a DoubleSight DS-263N BK.

I'll probably come to my senses and not do it. I probably will get the DS-263N BK though.
