RivaTuned won't allow the GPU core speed past 740Mhz for me but over 700Mhz there was no performance gain anyhow. The shader and memory clock made a nice difference though.

Just a note about the fan. On full it is very noisey, but the ammount of air it'll blast through is amazing. It's like a leaf blower. The sweet spot is 55%, nice and quiet but with good air flow. I might mod the grill where the air comes out to increase air flow a bit.

16910 on 'P' mode, 11905 on 'H' mode But that's in SLI. Did you mean for one card?

Nice!

Yes I only own one GTX 280 at this time. So my score is single. I did kill the order for my Xeon X3360 and am going to use my Q6600 G-0 @ instead @ about 3.6GHz since that is its "easy" OC. I do that on 1.46v. I'd like to keep that chip awhile. That money will likely go for another GTX 280 in a bit. I don't have SLi, ...yet.

I tried my 260 at 700/1400/1200 (same as rev) and it was fine.

I think jAkUp's are the highest I've seen at 1296. Mine reached the limit at about 1280.

BTW, I found the shader clock was very depentent on heat. I bet with water cooling these things would OC very high.

1280 is pretty insane for a 260, let alone two of them, nice cards I hope my 280 does ~1300, that would put the 4870 in its place

Anyone seing performance increase from the core overclock alone? I've tried just changing the core from 600 to 700 and back with shader unlinked at 1458 and running benchmarks and the scores are virtually the same.

So, atm, the average memory overclocks for the GTX280 are around 1280-1300, isn't it ?

15-17% OC for the memory.

Well, i'm not sure, but, for my personal needs, if i'm right, i could run my fav game at 90fps, with a 15% of memory overclock, and the new HD textures. Not a bad beginning.

Those are max, not average.

Looks to me like the average would be over 1250, the people who are overclocking as high as they will go are getting 1300 or close... 1300 is pretty much the max as no one has really gone over that, but it's gotta be close to the average as well.

edit:

Shocky 1300
Backlash 1300
jAkUp 1296
Revs 1280 (260)
pingu2 1310
mg1973 1200 (260)

avg = 1281

Well, if no ones gone over that then that makes them max.
