This is very much a fight between Nvidia and Intel,and with Intel being 20x larger and having billions at their disposal and not exactly being on good terms with Nvidia these days....Well,let's say i wouldn't place any bets on Nvidia coming out on top here.

I hope you are right and we all benefit from hardware physics no matter the graphics card. But Intel is a really strong company, you never know what they may be planning

The whole physx thing seems like it is going to be another pain in the arse. I just wish there was one standard. Same goes with the crossfire, SLI thing. I know it probably will never happen but a standard would make it great for us the consumer.
