3rd Sticker on my GTX 260!

Just FYI - I was reading the EVGA forums today and I noticed a guy state that there was a vinyl sticker on the fan of his GTX 280. I knew ahead of time that my card had vinyl stickers, and took off the two large ones on the outside of the heatsink assembly/cover, but didn't notice the ones on the fans.

Basically it's a circular sticker right in the middle of the fan. Mine were both on solidly, and it shouldn't effect temps at all, but one guy in the EVGA post said that his sticker was almost all the way off, and that it could have been pretty bad if it had been sucked into the card - so I decided to go digging in my case and pull them off.

Thought I'd pass it on.

Dident they have the same problem with the 6800Ultra?

My BFG 8800 lost its sticker and wound up under the fan blades. Was a pain to dig out. Didn't lock the fan up, but it did click like crazy when it happened. Almost like a playing card in bike spokes.

Does this "sticker problem" pertain only to eVGA cards?

There's a guy in this post that said his BFG 8800GT had one of these stickers, but other than that I can't be sure. If you don't own an eVGA card, open your case and have a look

I would guess that any card that has additional graphics applied to the centre of the fan has a high chance of having one of these stickers.

I have not checked my fan but i had removed the one on the front, back and top so if there is one on the fan that would make it 4.

the sticker on my 280 is beginning to come off.. i can see it through my case (antec 900)
im afraid if it get's too warm in there it will come right off, i'd take it off myself however
there's another little sticker on top of the sticker which says "Warranty void if Removed"..
