It's more likely the prolblem just solved itself, like it did with me.

Luckily i never let card to reach 105C neither i have seen artifacts.

a die that big and i would think that some unevenly applied compound would cause hell.

i may disassemble my EVGA since it doesn't void the warranty.

FYI, mine doesn't "overheat" but it does hit about 100 after furmarking for 30 minutes...

wouldn't mind a little more OC headroom.
