I played both Diablo I and II, but I never really understood or got into the whole universe thing to the point of picking it up again after beating the single player portion.

Anyway, I think I'll be picking this one up for sure.

Blizzard takes it time on its titles and usually doesn't announce release dates until the beta testing stages are nearly complete. It's unlikely Diablo 3 will be released any time before 2010, and SC2 will probably not be out for another year. Might be faster with with the higher production budgets though.

Having never played any previous Diablo game and seeing peoples reaction to Diablo 3, i must say i am quite intriqued and will be be picking this one up for sure.

Looks pretty cool.

Yup, I didn't get into the previous Diablos due to lack of story and repetitive gameplay. This one looks different though. :

I just watched the 20 minute gameplay video and it definitely looks good, but the gameplay still looks about the same. Which is good for the fans I guess... but I don't think it'd keep me interested.

Also, I hope the story elements and voice acting are a bit better than what they highlighted in the video.
