I would guess $75-100 more than the rampage. It is nice but daum the price tag.

XtremeMusic at least supports EAX5.0HD, this ASUS version only goes to 4.0. Means it's more comparable to an Audigy2.

Can you physically tell the difference between the two?

I have one that came with my P5E deluxe that I have never used. If it is ok I may put it in my gaming rig and move the xonar to my htpc.

Ive had mine for awhile. the board is really designed for overclocking. The first screen on the bios is the overclocking screen. The board has more options then my DFI did. its more stable too. you can get crazy high fsb. allot of really nice stuff on this board.

tip

Dont use the tubes it comes with for the northbridge adapters if you use the adapters. buy some tubbing from homedpot or something. The ones asus gives you crack easy. thats how one of my 4870x2s died.
Other then that great board.
