I should have said "alot of people" instead of "everyone". I know at XS this news recieved little praise, it was mostly used to bash Nvidia for including their chips on Intel boards instead of doing it through drivers. Nvidia's chipset business will effectively be dead in the performance and enthusiast markets, so of course they want to make some quick cash by other means. I have a 280 primarily because of stepup but also because it is still the fastest card. Nevertheless, there seems like there's alot of anti-Nvidia talk lately. Nvidia "hacked" Vantage, replaced files, is forcing unecessary chips onto Intel motherboards, and is "screwing" customers just because ATI was forced to release the HD4000 series at such a low price. If AMD wasn't in such rough shape, the 4870 and 4850 could easily have a $100 higher MSRP. ATI isn't doing this out of the good of their hearts, they are a profit seeking organization just like Nvidia, and have low prices out of necessity not choice. The HD4000 series is great for consumers but it doesn't make ATI any better then Nvidia as far as ethics and business practice goes. But I'm getting a little off topic here, the point is that we should *hopefully* be done with SLI stabilty problems as related to Nvidia chipsets, and one platform that can suppport both forms of Multi-GPU solutions should always be welcome.

It's okay. I had about 1,000 of them during the 680i spell so can cover your deficiencies in that area.

While the goal of every business is to make money, Nvidia has repeatedly overcharged people for their hardware. I mean, come on. Launching a card at 650$ two gens in a row? Even the 7900GTX came out at 550-600$ a clip while the 1900XT, a better overall performer, sold in the 450-500 range.

In general, ATI's hardware has been better priced from generation to generation.

You may eventually see names takemn from Hebrew since Intel has begun construction on their largest facility outside the USA. It is in Israel where the original SSE instruction set was written.

The only people to have lived continuously on the land from time immemorial are Jews. So many others have conquered, ruled, thrived and ultimately perished there that the list would take hundreds of pages. A mere sample would include: Byzantines, Persians, Arabs, Turks, Circassians, Kurds, Abbassids (Iraqis), Egyptians, Kharezmians (Genghis Khan), Mamluks, Mongols, Latins (Crusaders), Ottomans, French and English.

It is not and never was Palestinian land.

I'll wait to upgrade by then to the Intel X58 Motherboard with SLI support. This is what dreams are made of. I'm glad I never got an Asus 780i or 790i Motherboard after all.

only true in past few generations because Nvidia cards were selling better, and ATI had to stay competitive.
