Well, technically, these rebates are coming from the manufacturers, correct? So wouldn't it be Evga and XFX's bottom lines that are affected?

I sent my info in to Evga last night. After the rebate, it will mean that I paid less for my 280 GTX FTW than I did for my 8800GTX - and I purchased my 8800GTX a couple weeks or more after launch.

If anyone deserves a refund it's you I know what you've been going through and really hope things work out. I can't imagine the same offer not being extended to the rest of the world, but it may just be a matter of logisitics. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes to make all of this happen. I'm sure it's a major undertaking.

You could be right, but I'm not really familiar with these matters. I do know that NVIDIA controls the prices of the GPUs and possibly the graphics memory as well.

Well after my rebate it'll mean i paid alot less for my GTX 260 then i did for my Asus 6800GE 256 My GTX260 cost $420/My 6800GE cost $488

Rebate monies for European customers will be converted from U.S. Dollars (USD) into the currency of the customer’s country. Due to exchange rates at the time of processing, these amounts may vary
