Default Bayonetta

Anyone seen this ?

http://www.sega.com/platinumgames/ba...UK/index2.html

It's made by Platinum Games (composed of some former key members of Clover Studio ) under the direction of Hideki Kamiya (Devil may Cry creator).

Yeah, damn I'm looking forward to it. I'm a huge fan of DMC and Okami.

I read abt it in EGM or OXM but quickly skimmed over as I hate these kinda games. A nude patch should make it interesting though!!!!

My bet is that a japanese high college uniform for the main character is bound to arrive on the marketplace soon after the game is published.

Yeah. I really hope this game doesn't suck. It shouldn't though since it is basically just DMC :\.

Yeah, it's basically DMC4 gameplay with another character, moves and background. I like that you can pick up and use different weapons. She picked up the miniboss axe after the kill for exemple.

Here is two other short gameplay movies
Cam movie (1):

And (2):

Wont come on PC though, only seen XBox 360/PS3 announced.

I finished it and it is a great game IMO. It plays like DMC and is a fast paced action game. Though on the PS3 is has a serious flaw. It doesn't install anything to the HD so there is A LOT of loading... screens. When you want to skip the cut scene, you get a 2-3 second loading... message before the interface comes up. Go into your inventory and it does the same. Change from tab to tab in your inventory and there is very noticeable loading pause. I once complained that the Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma inventory screens sucked cause it was so slow, but they are significantly faster than Bayonetta's inventory stuff. I'd would love to give the game a 9/10 but would drop it to about a 7/10 because of the excessive pausing and loading. Even the cleaver loading screen where you can practice your combo timing between levels gets old after a while. If I were someone at Sony I'd have denied approval of the game till they installed stuff onto the HD.

Just finished it on the 360. Fantastic game!

It's like DMC3 on speed... with about 30x the budget and epicness. This is probably now my favourite action game ever.

PLAY IT.
