I thought it was a sequel to RtCW as well, RtCW being a reboot and the new original game.

From what I have read other then sharing the same name of the character (which is always the case) it has no real ties to the previous titles. BTW It looks liek they are all "sequels" since RTCW was said to be the sequel to the original Wolfenstein 3D.

It's been in development since 04 as RTCW2 but that doesn't mean its actually a sequel.

Leaked Wolfenstein MP Beta all over the web.Needs hamachi to work though,without official server support.Looks like it has promise to me,after all its still in beta

Gogamer has this for $39.90 preorder... will ship on the 18th.

Once you add $5 for shipping though, it's really only $5 off, and I would pay $5 to get it release day, rather than wait for it in the mail.

There are videos of the beta on youtube. They are using the same animations and gun sound effects from Quake Wars. Lame...

That's multiplayer... I'm pretty sure that like Quake 4 this is mainly a singleplayer game.
