Default Legend: Hand of God

A friend at work today told me this game was recently released, and it was a good alternative to D2 / Titan's Quest. I'm not familiar with the story or background of this game but I saw it in action and it looked fairly good.

Anyone else pick this up yet? If so, what is your opinion?

Googling around, turns up a Demo which can be found here

Here are some player reviews for it.

There don't seem to be any "professional" reviews yet.

Played it. I've got a level 22 magic-warrior type guy.

Love it so far. It's like WoW only harder. No whiny kids wanting gold. The graphics are beautiful.

Only problem is that you can't alternate between all your spells, you have a limit of 3 things to do; and that's with your mouse buttons. Left click is attack with sword, middle click is spawn dragon things that shoot fire out of the ground at enemies, right click is fireball.

Only other two combat things are spacebar (health potion), and enter (mana potion).

Tab key makes map disappear. I found that out the hard way when I kept wondering where my map went.

Hmm, that ign site with player reviews doesn't seem to be promising. I'll be checking out the demo before buying this game.

Raiden, did you play Titan's Quest? Would you recommend this game to someone who enjoyed Titan's Quest?

I have played the demo and I also love Titan Quest. Let me tell you, I uninstalled this piece of crap after 10 minutes.

Oh, and how can this be anything like WoW? WoW is an MMO to begin with. If anything, it TRIES to be like Diablo, failing on all accounts.

It's like WoW in the sense that you do quests, kill monsters, level up, get talent points, can mass-transit via runestones (gryphons in WoW), get weapons and armor with buffs, buff yourself up with spells.

The only thing that isn't there is the bunch of nagging teenagers.

So anyone else tried this game, is it as good as Titan's Quest?

Man this game is completely below the radar, still no one has review it yet:

http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/934486.asp

Yet it's the #1 most popular game at Gamespot, must be something to it...

Just played the demo for 30min. Feels like another Diablo or Dungeon Siege. Since I didn't like either of those games I'm hardly qualified to recommend a similar one. Graphics were okay, gameplay was slow, repetitive and dull. Quests and conversations were the usual dullness and you could not skip dialog. I also just finished Space Siege demo before playing this one and enjoyed that experience a little more.
