Dusted off Farcry? I didn't have to dust it off, I still have it installed. Too good to get dusty. I will have to try some of these mods.

Quick question.

Do these mods just add levels that you play through or do they actually change the graphics/settings/visuals for the single-player campaign a la the fakefactory mod for hl2 ?

I just re-installed FC and I wanted to play it in all it's UPDATED glory if possible

No such mod exists that I know of, That would be good.

After reading this thread I downloaded a couple of mods (I hadn't done it in awhile). I gave them a go and then took them out. I've played a lot of FarCry mods but still have not played one that was as good as the original game (to me anyway). They just never seems to play as smooth. For now, I'll just continue to enjoy the original as I still play it from time to time. This game doesn't get old for me (it stays in my collection of about 40 other games I continue to keep installed).

I just reinstalled this game myself on my system Been sense my 6800GT sense I have played this. I got the 64-bit exe and then the 64-bit extra content. I then found an old tweak guide for the settings and put everything on as high as I could get it. Oddly enough... years later... this game still looks totally awesome. And now its quite fun to play it again with amazingly high FPS
