Default some apps keep going to my 2nd display

I have nvidia driver and a LCD and HDTV. I am using Twinview, xorg and kde.

When I start some apps (like amsn) it goes to my TV display. Then I drag it over to my main display.

Is there something I can do to stop this?

I see an option in nvidia-setting to my this display the primary, but it seems to make no diff.

Default Re: some apps keep going to my 2nd display

the nvidia drivers are not responsible for window placement. KDE's window manager is.

Try checking "Active mouse screen", and new windows will be opened on the screen your mouse pointer is on. Otherwise KDE uses the screen with the active window.
you can also try using the window specific settings to force certain windows to always appear in the same position.
