Hi,
I've registered after resolving an issue I've had since purchasing my Gainward GTX280 last week and would like some feedback from other users. My problem was that the card would powerdown when in 3D mode (fan would shut down, monitor signal would go and LED would turn red). My PSU at the time was a brand new OCZ EliteXstream 1000W PSU. I swapped my PSU today for a Corsair HX 1000W PSU and can now enjoy my card without any issues whatsoever. Infact the card also seems to run a little cooler. So my question is for those of you with similar problems, what PSU are you using? |

TT 1200 here has been fine so far.
I have heard of throttling down incorrectly - but that doesn't seem to quite match your situation.
