Cell Factor game demo with PhysX?

There was a game/technology demo for the old Ageia PhysX card called Cell Factor. I decided to see if it would work with my new G200 card but I keep getting a fatal error upon launching the game. Anybody else tried this with sucess? The demo can be found at http://www.gamershell.com/download_19042.shtml

Yeah, i tried it as soon as the PhysX drivers came out, but they've not been adapted to work with the Ageia demos yet. AFAIK they will do soon.

I'm using the 177.79 beta video drivers and the 2.8.1 PhysX drivers.

The 177.41 WHQL + 2.8.1 PhysX drivers.

I get a 'Could not find ScriptingSystem.DLL' error.

No, you are thinking of Blast Factor, some odd but fun top down 2D shooter. Cell Factor is a first person multiplayer shooter only on PC.

Cell factor does not work with the currently available drivers. From what I've read is that it didn't even work very well with an Ageia PhysX card.

I couldn't get Cellfactor to launch without error under Vista x64. I had planned to try it. I have had success with Warmonger and Nurien.

Cellfactor worked great on my machine. And i dont have a phys card. All you need to do is to disable phys-x via the launch bar, via a shortcut, dont remember the command too good, but there are plenty of threads about it on the net, just google it. Also disable clothphysis as it takes too much fps. I got it working on Vista, its a bit demanding but once again i only have a 8800gtx. Its a fun game, lots of physis.

Doesn't disabling the physx sort of defeat the purpose of using GPU accelerated Physx?
