Basically it's Test Drive Unlimited Lite on dirt to me.

I stress Lite cause there are plenty of things that could and should of been included to make it more mainstream popular like cokpit view, vehicle tune/mods, small towns with dealerships to buy/sell, etc but I'm betting $$$$ and time is what kept that out of this game.

Still love it for the basic TDU appeal of cruising around anywhere, with anyone in any vehicle.

I found a post for a work around to get my logitech g25 wheel to work. Not near as compatible as TDU or GRID. But steering, gas pedal and brake/reverse pedal work. No vibration or clutch but a whole lot better than keyboard.

Also this one will link you to a work around for the MOMO wheel:

So what's wrong with Fuel? I just played the PC demo and found it very fun.

Bought the game, it was already $20 new. I really like the idea behind it, a post-apocalypse racer... it is definately a casual game, but that's how I like my racers.

Sucks AA doesn't work... gonna go through nhancer profiles I guess.

No, you are not allowed to enjoy this game. You must bash it for everything it's not like every other hater out there that's trying to act cool.

Well I can see why the sim fans would hate it, but for people like me who like simple and fun racers it is pretty awesome. I assume you agree.

Forcing AA and AF in nHancer works, too, and suddenly the graphcs go from meh to impressive... LOD still lacks, but it is a lot less noticeable with 16xMSAA.

Screens from my two hour session just now:

Yup, great game for what it does. Got 50hours+ into it and still not finished it but I'm in no hurry.

You sure AA is working? You'd be the first person to ever get it working if so. I still see plenty of jaggies in those pics.

I tried the demo for this and couldn't stand the fact that AA didn't work for me and also the LOD issue (textures in the distance not appearing) is a huge problem in my opinion. I cannot play a game that has LOD problems like FUEL does.

Four things in this world that I love:

1) Learning of a new game that looks as if it might be really, really awesome in concept. Being totally sucked in by its announcement trailer, and eagerly looking forward to playing it.

2) Being out of the loop for some time.

3) Noticing that the thread's start date is from way back last year

4) Learning that the game has actually been out for a couple of months

And now, if it's a total let-down, it won't make me want to cry, like that horrible failure of sh*t that Spore was.

Edit: Weird how "Sh*t" is deemed too offensive for the forum, whilst "Spore" isn't. I just don't know what goes on inside the heads of these mod types, sometimes.

Well, the game looks insanely better than it did before I forced it... much more crisp. Perhaps the whole 16 isn't working, but there is some change that has improved the graphics considerably.
