Default Retail or Steam? How are you getting Warhead?

Having just heard about the 3 install EA DRM I'm considering Steam for this one even though the online retail version is cheaper.

Oh and I just got a SNES last week for 5 with some games ,(I'm a fleabay freak) Should bulk up my paypal nicely

Retail, coz downloading with a 1 Mbps connection with 4 GB limit a month is a deal breaker for me lol

It's a DRM scheme that limits a person to 3 installs. After that you would have to contact EA to refresh your install slots ALA bioshock.

I've been googling this and I can't find any reliable source, some say 3, some say 5 activations, but no good links confirming anything.

It's almost enough to put me off buying the game.

I still can't find a general consensus on whether the steam version has an install limit or not. I will definitely be getting the steam version if it does not.
