And that's why the problem went away when he upgraded his kernel? False logic indeed.

If you call 'moving back to windows' a kernel upgrade, perhaps it is.

shud ve tried with kernel 2.6.26 series.but yeah ,impatient brats shud **** off . Ubuntu too should provide 2.6.26 kernel for the needed.I think there is a zen sources 2.6.26 kernel recompile script somewhere in ubu forums.
