there is no.. running around "casting light magic" and attacking with "light armor"

this isnt a gay fantasy game like wow or many previous mmo's..

its the diablo franchise.. a dark, dreary, blood and guts, slaughtering hordes of monsters in SECONDS with 8 dudes and running at fast paces through swarms of beasts...

there is no watch and play...

you make a character based on the synergies sure.. but you can create anything you want..

there will be a sorc based character and a paladin based character...

it seems like the witchdoctor is half necro half druid.. so im not sure the expansion will unleash a druid like character

You have NO IDEA what you're talking about. I was implying that there be MORE than 3 simple classes, and do what you will with them. The way I would like to see it, as maybe like 6-8 classes. With restrictions on certain classes brings about different strategies, and combats. Furthermore, It was just a suggestion, and not set in stone. So stop huffing glue, and chugging Red Bull.

Oh, and as for the WoW comments...I've never played it, NEVAR!!!! I was, however, playing Dungeons & Dragons WAY back before you even had feathers on your pseudo-dragon. And THEY had multi-classes, and hybrid classes, even in 1983!

Not only have I been playing D2 since launch... but i still play it... that along with warcraft 3 and goldeneye are the only games that have kept me busy since launch that are that old.

I'm confident my "noob" druid...

will DEMOLISH... ANY non-sorc. (the sorcs have unfair pvp'ers imo)

you can make anything you want.. theres nothing noob abotu it... base it on synergies and your set..

i guess its fun to call people that call you dumb and get angry about it newbs though... its a bandwagon oft hopped on...

Hate to break it to you father time, but noone gives a **** about D&D...

it simply doesnt apply to video games... they've tried countlessly... and failed countlessly..

diablo is its own franchise, and in its own right is far superior to your book based nostalgia...

or you'd still be playing d&d, i'm sure... why settle for less when you could have more?



Secondly, Diablo fans do not want a new game.. they want, yes, a more refined diablo 2.. and in their videos they have given us JUST THAT.. diablo 2.. new characters.. new items.. new story... new 3d engine... destructable environments

but the game is the same.. all of its core elements..

we dont need to take diablo 2.. and make it world of diablo..

thats the beauty of the franchise...

its perfect.. there are still Hundreds of thousands of players...

and Blizzard is scared that will take out some wow monthly money.

This game isnt coming out for a long while...

a new character class has been revealed for Blizzard's upcoming action-RPG Diablo III. This as you can see the new class is the Monk.
