Stalker Clear Sky - Page 10

Just installed the patch and yeah, it runs slower than before -.-
Before the patch, I tried with Sun Shadow on, DX10 and 1680x1050.
The fps were 15-20, not very stable.

Without Sun Shadow, I got 25-30 fps at the beginning in the village and 40-50 fps outside in the swamp.

But now I'm running Clear Sky at the beginning (Save-Games are NOT compatible, great work -.-) with a maximum of 13fps. Even the intro had slowdowns.

I'll give it another try tomorrow, maybe I'll install another graphiccard driver.

Apart from performance issues, it's nearly the same game at the beginning like the first one.

Looking forward to it, hope the performance will be better.
I'd like to activate this Sun Shadow, looks very nice!

Besides frame rates and some crashes, any of you early Stalker owners find any bugs or glitches yet in the gameplay?

Did you try this patch V1.01?

I'm expecting my Euro copy soon, just played a bit bit the Rus. version 1.053 to get an early peek at it and it ran with 40-50 fps in the beginning in dx10 max IQ 1600x1200 16AF 8XAA. But this is with two HD4870X2's in (Quad) CF. Later on the fps was 80-90 in level 2, but after this I deleted the game awaiting my copy.

Its sad they didnt learn much of the critics stalker got, seem it got the same bugs, same glitches and worst of same crap performance thats even worse then crysis

Now THOSE screenshots are impressive. The textures on the character models are fantastic.
