Mine is script related... I will try it, maybe I'm missing something.

I'm running 1.5.04, I had a Carry More mod, which I removed... Anyway, the patch is coming on the 26th. I can wait until then...

This the sim_board.script of the 1.503 version in my game

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=5...40a8a6cb5377b4

Open fsgame.ltx in Clear Sky folder and with change this:

$game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

to:

$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

2. Put "gamedata" folder in Clear Sky folder.

I'm not that thrilled about it either... It's probably the crashes that are pissing me off to be honest. I just want to finish it and get on with my other games. I have Warhead and The Force Unleashed here and The Witcher EE on the way...

I also like to plan out my attacks, what weapons etc. I will take with me, also taking into consideration if it's day or night. If its night time I know there will be more mutants etc on the loose so I am much more cautious at night. When playing STALKER I am much more at the edge of my seat. The AI lets just say the scare the crap out of me, especially when I think I am all alone and suddenly I get flanked or a bloodsucker appears from its cloaking and I just jump out of my desk chair. Sometimes I just chill at the camps and hear the music, organize my inventory in preparation for my next mission and so forth. I feel a part of this wonderful/strange world. To me immersion is a big deal, since I love playing games with the lights out, 5.1 surround sound and all alone. I like getting the crap scared out of me.
...and most of all I get to be a STALKER living in "The Zone".

Seriously you don't want it to mess with your savedgames, wait it out.

Less than a week to go for new patch.

Could anyone explain why in the graphic options both "wet surfaces" and "volumetric smoke" are greyed out and I cannot adjust the sliders for these two options? I have S.TA.L.K.E.R Clear Sky installed for both XP and Vista and I am using the Enhanced Dynamic Lighting option and it happens on both operating systems. Video card is 8800 GTS 512 with the 175.16 drivers. I guess some would say these drivers are outdated but I find them to have the best performance and also the only recent ones with a working flat panel scaling option.

I'm definitely waiting for a few more patches before I get into this one. It sounds buggier than the original, and I waited quite a while for unofficial patches to fix that one before I finished it.
