As far as i'm concerned, Clear Sky is entirely worth the price just to be able to run through Limansk.

That's funny, I thought it was one of the most photogenic and beautiful levels I've ever seen.

I made my way to the point where I would have entered Limansk(point of no return), and decided to start the game over. I must say the swamp was really confusing the first time, but I just spent some time moving around there the second time and allowed the quests to open and close as renegades moved in and out of the areas, and it was a lot more fun.

So just hang out and run around, take the battles you can handle, and the ones you miss might open up again as renegades move around. Only two of the battles are key, the rest are just there to collect gear and rewards. The two key location are the farm in the upper right corner, and the one in the lower right.

Playing through the second time I was able to aquire a FULLY upgraded LR 300, a fully upgraded .45cal, and a Stalker suit, all on my first pass through the Dark Valley.

Started playing yesterday.

Any idea why the game crashes like clockwork whenever I try and equip a machine gun? It's the MP5 I believe.

running patch 1504

I really like the Swamps, as I don't think I've seen a level quite like this one where it's pretty much flat but with interesting structure that can be seen in the distance. Really makes for interesting atmosphere. Taking out the guys on the tower was fun becuase it was hard as hell yet I got to try several times from different sides.

Just installed, runs pretty well (with dx9, and medium settings) so I don't mind some less graphical detail, but what DOES bother me is the very obvious disk-reading resulting in terrible framedrops at certain areas. Once information is loaded, it's fine, but when the game is loading data (streaming I guess) the framerate really plummets. This really annoys me, especially since this is on a new 750gb Samsung 32mb cache drive.

The game runs much better in DX10 with enhanced ligthing than in DX9 with enhanced ligthing . The game with all settings in maximun , except the sun rays - in medium - and MSAA 2x runs at 15- 20 fps at 1080p in the two hours of the sun rays , and 30 - 40 fps in the others hours , with a 8800 , 9800 , 4850

Not on my box, and I suspect I'm not alone. DX10 runs 30-40% slower at any setting at or above high / enhanced lighting. Same with Crysis and Warhead.
