Default HL2 Coop - a great mod!

Played Merciless' HL2 Coop aka (Follow Freeman) this weekend, what a mod I must say, it allows you to change the server based on the amount of votes people give certain maps and things. For some reason I wasn't able to play through HL2 story even though it was an option available. Still this mod is great reguardless...

They're still working on svencoop 4.0 for hl1, it isn't known whether svencoop2 will actually be worked on.

However, people should check out obsidian conflict (www.obsidianconflict.com) , Its also a coop mod, pretty well polished, and I basically consider it to be svencoop2. It has hl:source all the way to hl2: ep2 playable, and also has a bunch of custom maps svencoop style, also custom weapons and all that good stuff.

I played Synergy Mod with some friends a couple of months ago, we almost finished the single player campaing in coop, it was a blast. It supports Episode 1 too (and Episode 2 is being implemented), here's an screenshot of the event. We also tried Follow Freeman but didn't support the main campaign.

Yeah, we had a good time with that match, the part with 2 buggies loaded with 4 people and two more following on foot was great, specially when *someone*'s buggy jumped off the cliff. Tons of laughs
