Sounds awesome! If I read a few positive (80%+) reviews of this game I'll probably go out and buy it.

How do the flying creatures work anyway? I only had the trial version of the creature creator but if I didn't give something legs it just sort of floated above the ground.

Dunno how they work right now. My Creature has the option for wings that allow jumping, but not flight yet. :

Think they mentioned flying and underwater creatures / civilizations where left out for an expac / dlc as they couldn't fit it without delaying the game even further.

Purchased the game, installed it, but cannot get it registered. EA servers for SPORE are not online perhaps (yet)?

They are. When I first installed there was mostly Maxis Creatures, now the servers worldwide are up there are some really weird creatures in the game.

I can't log in to the game with the creature creator right now. Must be doing some kind of server maintenance.
