ok, what the hell is wrong with Quake 3 and Doom3?

mouse movement is all screwed up, if i make quick fast movements it moves, but if you want to move it slower mouse just stands still doesn't move.

Can't even set the options correctly, because of mouse movement

Doom 3 and Quake 4's mouse settings are weird. I have to go to the console (CTRL ALT SHIFT ~) and type 'sensitivity x' (x is a number) to get it right. Give that a shot.

Had to buy the Doom 3 pack for 14.95.

A couple of years since I played it now, but the game still looks pretty good compared to todays games.

I think this is a Vsync issue. I can't seem to enable Vsync in regular Quake 3 but it works on Quake 3 Team Arena. I've tried forcing it through the Nvidia control panel but it still doesn't work

Edit: r_swapInterval 1 turns on Vsync in-game Soooo much better.

The mouse wouldn't move at all for me if I had the OpenGL extension limit enabled in the driver control panel. Disabling it brought everything back to normal. Everything works great, including widescreen through adding settings via an autoexec.cfg file.

fixed the mouse, actually it was caused by logitech setpoit for G9, had to see mouse acceleration and speed to OS controlled.
