Yeah I was there earlier and it was the same as when I first saw it 3 years ago. Always disappointing to see a project site that hasn't been updated in years...

DarkPlaces looks awesome though. I'm going to have to put Quake back on my system and try it out. Especially the updated multiplayer.

I have very fond memories of playing the special VeriteGL version of Quake on my brother's old Pentium MMX 200 system with a Rendition Verite 1000 4Mb card. It looks SO much better now, but the gameplay is still there. It used to be a lot harder\scarier though because I was a dumb kid and didn't realize how much better it was with the mouse and keyboard. I played it with a 4 button non-analog gamepad.

Can someone tell me how to fix the res problem in doom3.... I edited the config file to my res but it just keeps going back to 640x480.

Anyone know how to stop the annoying "drifting" that happens when you release a movement key in Quake? When I stop pressing forward, the character should stop IMMEDIATELY lol. Annoying how it takes a few more steps like you're on ice or something. Makes it feel sloppy.

I just loaded up EZquake with updated textures/models. It's probably not as sharp as DarkPlaces but it's awesome for online play
