Yeah, Digital that seems like a rather useless upgrade to me.
You aren't going to see any difference with anything you just bought. DDR3 that does nothing for real performance, slightly upgraded chipset, and a CPU that will clock slightly higher... Why bother? Especially with Nehelem coming so soon.

Well it is his money, and he can do what he wants with it, so I won't comment on the reasoning for the purchase. I am shocked you did make the purchase given your previous remarks on the Nforce chipsets and Nehalem being right around the corner. You couldn't have clocked that QX6850 any higher than 3.6ghz? After making the switch from Nvidia chipsets to intel chipsets I would never go back.

Is anyone surprised? This guy is well known for throwing away money on useless crap like HP systems, Monster Cables, etc.
I'll state it again, "A fool and his money are quickly parted." Quote:
I finally got rid of my Asus Nforce crap too. |

Less, OEM $750.00 I sold my QX6850 to an ebay member for $700.00 so it wasn't to bad in my option.
