Nice! Looks like the performance improvements weren't imaginary after all
. Hopefully it will sell well enough for Crytek to continue making PC exclusives.

Even if Crysis sold very, very well, Crytek would still probably want to go multiplatform, as they've seen COD4, Halo 3, and other games sell much better though they had, in some people's minds, less to offer.

I'm looking forward to seeing some performance numbers and screenshots from this game at full details. It seems odd that they were able to speed the game up so much while actually making it look better. A more technical review would be really interesting.

I agree. I was totally expecting a graphical downgrade. I thought textures, particles, and geometry were going to take a hit in order to get performance up. I would REALLY like to know what they did.
