Well its pes for me again this year.
Hmm, having bad graphics and the same gameplay mechanics would make more sense imo, doesn't most pc's sold have a pretty powerful cpu with a ****ty gpu?

Why is it always being down to being "Lazy". Why would EA be to "Lazy", to make a better or equal version? I think money comes in to this not laziness.

This is EA, they're a bit greedy, not stupid!

do you have a file thats "in the middle" like better than default but not as high as the replays
my game was stuttering with that file i am using a 8800GTS 640

The PC version of FIFA 09 is different to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions because of the CPU processing power required for the architecture of the game.

The majority of gamer’s PC’s do not have enough CPU processing power for this architecture, so FIFA09 on PC has been built to have the best possible graphics and gameplay engine while still being accessible to as many fans of the game as possible. If the architecture was identical to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, FIFA09 on PC would only be accessible to 1-3% of the PC systems on the market.

Having said that, FIFA09 on PC delivers a very deep gameplay engine, along with leading-edge visuals.

So there you have it. Want the best looking FIFA? Buy yourself a nice console.

I wonder if it's going to be the same deal when NHL 09 comes out.

Unfortunately, I didn't edit that file myself. I am only sharing it. You can try comparing the original LODs with the edited ones and try to guess what's going to work with your system between them.

some news about Fifa09 from CD-Action Polish magazine

you will be able to select one league that will auto download/update stats of one league.
so if one player in real life starts playing worse and stats go down, game will update that as well.

if you one to do more then one leauge will you have to pay

I don't know about PC but doesn't PES come out like 2 weeks later? Hardly seems worth it if you're just waiting for that.
