Default 8800GTS lockup/stability issues

Hey, I just got an 8800GTS as a replacement from BFG tech when I sent in my old card that died on me, and Linux is randomly flickering and crashing on me.

When I'm working, random black boxes appear on the screen, and it randomly locks up when the nvidia driver is enabled. Driver nv works fine.

http://supertanker.mercenariesguild....ia_problem.jpg << Here is an example of my problem

Included is my nvidia-bug-report attached. This problem occurs both on my old kernel (2.6.24.3) and the updated one (2.6.25.4)

When the computer crashes, I can ssh into it, but cannot shutdown or kill any processes. X takes up 100% of the CPU time.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated--I'm about to ask BFG for my 7900 back...
