I preordered over Steam. I played Crysis with this new setup of mine, it runs perfect. Now, i can't wait for Warhead. I'm having fun with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky right now, i might wait with Warhead until i complete Clear Sky.

Just picked up my copy from Gamestop. I'll post pics soon. Will be running it on the Q6600 @3.6ghz on the 4870. I am waiting on the 4870x2 for my main rig.

Ahhhhhhhhhh 9 am and no Steam release yet............... -Not to mention there was no pre-load.. so.. who knows when those of us with the Steam version will
be playing.............

Glad I didn't get it for STEAM. As much as I love STEAM, it is always late to the party when it comes to releasing games.

The game is boring and the PVP is like running through molasses on a cold day. It is sluggish and awkward. I'm not saying the game is bad, just that it didn't have that "gotta play it" feeling to it.

Very initial reaction -- not the performance increases that were promised. While it does run better on DX10 VH settings (enthusiast), it is still sluggish and laggy. However, some great news -- I imported my custom autoexec config from CCC 2.21 and it fired up just fine. Game looked awesome and ran butter smooth on DX9 in Vista. Another thing, there is no 64bit exe with Warhead, only 32-bit. I'll go do some screenshots.

Edit: DX9 works extremely well -- with CCC2.21 autoexec I am getting between 30-50fps depending on whats going on and the game looks fantastic. DX10 on Enthusiast is still sluggish and slow.
