I imported my config from CCC 2.21 from crysis. Worked just fine. Infact, in my opinion, looks better than DX10 VH. I say that because I like to tweak the HDR and SSAO.

This is so much better thus far than the first, and the physics seem better too. The roadway level was so much fun, and I lol several times in that new vehicle that will send the humvee's flying.

I stopped once I got to the submarine, and wanted to save some for later.

Just finished it. At the ice age my fps reallllly plummeted but I got through it. It was a lot shorter then crysis and there was no real story nor alien levels. Not a bad peice of tech demo though (took about 4 hours to finish on delta difficuly). I enjoyed it overall a lot more then crysis.

How do you get the Steam version to run in DX9 mode? DX10 runs like crap for me

In Crysis you could double tap the crouch key to go stealth and double tap the jump key to go power. This isn't working in Warhead. Am I missing something?

Wow! This game is awesome! Having a blast so far, it looks better, runs better and plays better than Crysis. And I loved Crysis too

Wow, what a blast this game is , so much faster paced than Crysis, it really feels like a war. I love the wildlife, I'm seeing a lot more. I've seen a big spider and rats running around, I found the turtle too. Seems like the jungles are much more dense this time and chopping them down with that mounted minigun is just pure fun. I am having some issues with falling through floors and rocks and things not loading their full LOD. Like in that above bar I fell through the floor to the sand, I though, why did they make the bar so tall and then I noticed. Performance does seem to be up a bit but I'm not sure I like all the yellow yet. Cut scenes look absolutely gorgeous. I expect nothing less than monkeys swinging from trees in the next one.

Just got the game and spent an hour tweaking the settings... game runs just like crysis (crap)....

In the end I had to lower the resolution to 1280x800 at "Gamer" settings with 2xAA and game is still plays between 20 and 30 FPS. That's on an E8400 overclocker to 3.4gig and overclocked 8800GTX.

Picked this game up yesterday. Plays pretty well so far in both DX9 and DX10 mode, but is anyone still getting that stupid streaming textures bug on Gamer or Enthusiast for the texture setting where the far off mountains look like smeary low-res mounds of crap?
