I used Windows Live for about 12 hours. I had a free trial so I said, heck, why not?

Biggest piece of ****. Ever.

Seriously. Mike just ban Bearclaw. The nonsense coming out of his mouth is beyond a joke.

The Calender sync is great. If I didn't already have Outlook installed with a nifty sidebar gadget I'd be using it for sure. ::

i don't like to mess with the codes.. all i need is Divx.

vista codec pack, only the bare minimal:

xvid = used for avi encoding, better quality then divx
haali media splitter = used for playback of HD files, mov, ts, m2ts mkv etc...
ac3filter = sound decoder
ffdshow = can decode almost everything

Vista Codec pack here too, with 64bit extras and Quicktime Alternative Light.
