Maybe this is a silly question but what it the actual difference betweeen pkg0 and pkg1? They have different sizes and seem to exist for every driver.

Right, there is the release announcement.

@nvidia: any idea why
GtkDrawingArea - Lines - time: 2.33
GtkDrawingArea - Circles - time: 3.54

in gtkperf are about 2 to 3 times worse than with 177.70, and could you please be more verbose about
"Improved power management support."?

powermizer unfortunately still seems to be not configurable.

Oh, and it seems ati just added full XRandR 1.2 support to the drivers, any plans on that?

Then a reminder: urxvt ( http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=118250 ) not fixed yet.

But the corruptions seen with qtcurve on qt4 are now gone,
Thanks for the good work

Fuchs

I don't see anything mentioned in the README or the changelog in the sticky, but it looks like there's adjustments to handle XEN in Debian's kernels.

I concur.
Power management totally sucks on mobile systems (GPU cool, system on AC, but GPU/Mem clocks at minimum).
Would be nice to know if that has been fixed/improved.

My `gtkperf -c 1000` results have disimproved quite a bit over 177.70 with an 8800GTS G92. Circles and lines are several times slower, but I doubt they impact desktop usage very much.

I get "gdk_draw_pixbuf: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed" on the last test so ignore its result (not driver related).

good news:

the corruptions with avant-window-navigator are gone (I'll have to do a deeper look at that but it seems fixed)
