i tried this config in crysis, and i must admit it looked pretty awful. it looks amazing on warhead for some reason though, and the huge fps boost is just another plus.

This totally transformed the game for me. Previously I was getting about 16-18 FPS with gamer settings at 1680x1050 with my 8800 GTX, and now running the DX9 path I can run level 4 settings, which look better than running the old Gamer settings, with 16X AF at 1920x1200 at about 23-25FPS. Too bad the idiots at EA couldn't have done this out of the box.

Went from getting 50 fps on medium to an average of about 45 fps on the second to highest level of this config. I tried the highest, but it was a bit choppy, and lagged like a ***** on the level: TRAINING in power struggle. Anyway, havent tried it on warhead yet, but I will most likely use the highest level since it's singleplayer.

Very impressed with this CCC so far.

Btw, I play at 1920 x 1200. Specs are in sig.

I had some bugs in the ice levels with this config
(I used CCC 2.21 config @ lvl 5, with realistic shadows)

With CCC config

Without

Thanks to crysuki for the notification of the new CVARs.

Obviously, it's still mostly CCC 2.21 made by the CCC crew, I just added the new CVARs and tweaked some stuff for better looks and performance. This uses the realistic shadows algorithm.
I didn't test it.

thought this was pretty neat

CCC 2.21 custom config ~40fps

CCC 2.21 enthusiast settings ~19fps

CCC 2.21 + UltimaRage's tweak custom config ~43fps

CCC 2.21 + UltimaRage's tweak enthusiast settings ~ 26fps

I copied the Xconfig autoexe file into the warhead folder. Works like a champ. Shadows may be a bit too dark (especially in the dawn time of day) The new SSAO settings may have something to do with that. I'll have to play around with it.

regardless, at 1680X1050, the Xconfig gives me an average of 30~40 fps depending on what's going on.

Well the config is for crysis and not warhead so if it hangs just remove it obviously we need a special config again.
