Has anyone had problems with accesing the rtc on a nforce moterboard? I hav a chaintech 7NIF2 and hwclock locks up. It took me forever to figure out what the problem was and then a google search found that some people were having this problem with the quatro cards so I tried dissabling the hwclock program and it worked, but it's very annonying because my system clock keeps getting off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you have "Enhanced Real Time Clock Support" enabled and loaded in your kernel.
I was playing with an Asus A7N8X with debian using the v2.4.21rc2 kernel and didn't have any problem with the system clock. |
