Yes. It's real. There's someone that wrote an nForce/nForce2 agpgart driver. You can find his comment here:

For me: it builds and loads. no problem.
But, that's about as far as I can go. I haven't gotten the ATI drivers to build for the new kernel architecture for agpgart. And probably never will. Man why do have to want all this modern hardware stuff!

All you people out there, try it and test it and good luck. Remember it's an experimental kernel.

It will get you agpgart in linux 2.4. I'm running it right now.
