Question GeForce 6600 -> 9800GT?

What I get if change my 6600 to 9800GT? I'm Linux only user and play in some window$ games on Wine. Or may be I shell buy something like 9500GT?

Ubuntu 8.10, Albatron KM266Pro, AMD AthlonXP +1800@1600MHz, 1 GB RAM, GeForce 4 MX440.
