My internet service provider is WOW or Wide Open West (cable TV and internet provider). I just got an e-mail from them that says the have upped my internet speed to 8mb per second, from what I thought I has was 4mb per second. They told me to unplug my modem for a short time and plug it back it and I would see the improvement.
So I went to two different sites that test your internet speed. One was speakeasy.com and the other was WOW's own speed test. I can NOT get over 5mb per second. I really don't think there is any improvement over the speed I had before. Any Ideas?
