right, i have no standard, cause i still play quake 3 + 2, +HL2 all the time. Problem is, the flaws in this game take it away from being fun. Its like saying yes, this car would be great to drive, unfortunately it tends to blow up sometimes. Try CSS zombie mod, and tell me if its not 10times better.

Any way to remove some of these? I only want Zombie Panic in my list, none of the others.

Zombie Panic: Source is amazingly fun and addictive, imo i think it's one of the prettier looking mods, I highly recommend it.

It is really challenging as a survivor, but thats where most of the fun comes from. Of course it's always fun to eat brainsss as a zombie.

I've even set up my own server due to too many players and not enough space.

Synergy seems really unstable.

I've been trying to play it for a half hour and servers keep crashing, games get lagged out or my game crashes.

There are only 2 servers on my list that have less than 100 ping and they are always full. I think most of the servers aren't dedicated. I see this being a big problem with these mods. They're put into the steam list like every other game but there are no good servers to play them on.

EDIT: Wow, the original HL2 levels in Co-Op are extremely boring. I played from the train station to the hover craft levels and it wasn't any different than playing solo. Just laggier and less to kill on your own. It doesn't seem like they altered the levels or enemies at all for multiple players.

Just played DIPRIP and it seems alright. At least its an original idea for a Half-Life 2 mod.

The announcer is incredibly irritating though. I had to turn down the volume because he's SO loud and he says the same thing over and over.

Then the game crashed with the old fashion Source engine repeating sound stutter. I haven't had this happen in years.

Every time I play with my friends we launch our own server, it's better than looking for some servers that may go down at anytime. It's rock stable, we play for hours

Synergy was really annoying last night.

I downloaded/installed it, then i tried to play a game. first it told me that i need ep1/ep2 hl2, which i have, then i restarted and it worked. then i tried joining servers and it kept freaking out, losing connection and booting me.

finally, i got in a server, then about 10 min into it, it crashed and i said "**** this"

great experience
