I think it looks just as good as Doom3.
id is going to have some competition with this one, and especially from the Unreal engine!

realy nice pics some AA would make it perfect

Also guy check out Fileplanet and download No one lives forever 2 demo 1 level only but realy cool , graphics are alot better then first one i got some speed problems with AA enabled when useing Katana sword

but who cares by the time its released i am gonna have better video card

Having some inside info on dx2 I can tell you that the graphics are far from over!!You ain't seen nothing yet!!

The shaders and shadows are not part of the unreal warfare engine.They are inhouse developed by ion storm.They are basically using the unreal toolset and have reworked everything else.All lighting and shadows are made in realtime.Everything casts shadows from a model to a coffee spoon!!DX2 engine goes way beyond what you'll see in unreal 2!!!

Models will be bump-mapped and the amount of detail on them is expected to be on par will doom3's.
