dual monitors in fedora 9
hey i am a noob, as in new to fedora not just saying im a noob so i get slammed for asking what should be an easy question
i just installed fedora 9 on my compaq f730us it runs great the only thing is when i try to hook up a second monitor the second monitor just flashes different colours i just to mess around in the display options but no results
i went to the nvidia website to try and reinstall the drivers so maybe using the nvidia utility i might be able to setup the dual screens
However my main problem is i opened up the terminal to try and typed in
but it juts keeps saying that it cannot find the specified file
any ideas on how to install a driver properly or set up dual monitors?

Re: dual monitors in fedora 9
Yes, It is rather difficult to see the sticky thread on how to install the driver for recent distribution, as it is always on top and people tend to ignore stickies.
there you go.
Also the link to the nvidia driver readme is hidden,
and the readme would be the last place I'd look for dual monitor configuration as well.
