The worst of it : it had worked for 3 months (3123)
Then I had a HW lockup, and now nothing, just the "usual" - Asus KT7A - Athlon 1 Ghz - Gforce 256 System is a Mandrake 9 with 2.4.19 Kernel I DID try 3123 (rpms) and latest 4963(installer), but both behave the same : by "usual", I mean : - X starts, flickers, and black screen - Log stops after Modeline choice - X eats 99% CPU What should I look for ? |
