Not yet. I've pretty much adjusted to it, but yes, it's painful.

EDIT: Great, now my sound is cutting out on me.

Well this sounds like a well polished port...

Hey Nomec, I think I just replied to one of your posts at HardOCP. I am having the exact same problem.

I hadn't even thought about this game and now I want it... I'm almost wishing Fallout 3 was farther off because it's totally ruining my opportunity to play so many games right now!

Regarding the FoV complaint: Dead Space supports widescreen resolutions, right? If it does, I'm pretty certain the FoV is supposed to be tight and confined to make the game seem scarier.

I was waiting to get the PC version but now I'm getting scared off.

I would play the PC version with a 360 pad. Is anyone playing it that way? How is it?

AA and AF is the icing on the top, but still significant enough to notice IMO.

Sounds good with the fix and all, I'm probably gonna be getting the PC version now. I really wish it would be on Steam though
Meh... if I'm going to keep going through the hassles of PC gaming, I want more than slight enhancements. I want better core assets... we all know we're not getting the old style System Shock 2 and Daggerfall games back, but at least we could get some better textures. Seems even that is too much to ask.

If the added resolution and AA do it for you then I'm happy for you, but I look at those screens and it looks exactly like the PS3 version I've been playing.

Damn, I was just about to order, but if this is true I will have to wait and see if it's something that they patch.

That is what i might do. I usually play that way with console ports and third person games.
