Spoilerish stuff has been removed or whited out for those that haven't finished the game.

Come on, if people complain about spoilers at least fix your post, don't throw a fit.

Been playing through this on 'Impossible'. The difficulty level really adds serious tension to this game, because you aren't always close to a save point.

Couple of levels...like having my teeth pulled with no Novocaine. Great game.

I think it was pretty big... Highlight below...
You learn close to the end that Nicole is dead, so he says that she appears in the end... Pretty much ruins the surprise... Plus you keep expecting her, so you're less likely to jump when it happens...

Lol, more like losing my guts here

Someone said in a post a while back that some 'surprises' were added in impossible...I haven't seen any yet, but the game play is flippin brutal in a few areas. had to walk away a couple times so far.

Basically, yes. Other difficulty levels I always had an over abundance of ammo and health, but on impossible not all monsters drop supplies. Until I could upgrade damage and HP sufficiently a room like the lab - the one after the regenerating necromorph showed up, was a royal pain to get through. Little design decisions like not being able to reload on the run become very challenging.

Overall though I'm almost ready to call this the perfect balance of combat and supply management for this type of scenario. You really, really don't want to die after getting through a rough area low on ammo and health.
