Man, quit bickering you two.

Comment on the game or take it to PMs.

what does it matter, all 3 major titles out this fall are cross-platform (fallout3, farcry2, dead space, world at war... etc...), so except graphics performance, they are the same game...

Thanks Magus for the reply, that's the one thing I regret about cross-platform is they often remove standard features like quicksave, quickload, and force you to replay whole sections of the game... but this one seems to use save areas... aka the terminals... so i'll think about... i would like to play something with a little more atmosphere....

If you like horror titles I would not pass this title up. It really shines, it also don't suffer from any "consolitis". Corpses stay all the time and ragdoll aswell as dismember constantly. No corners are cut, this game is great. The saving system isn't bad since you can always run back to a close save point and not have to worry about enemies respawning.

Bioshock was such a great game, now Dead Space. Hmm, after Magus' mini review... I'm going to get it instead of waiting for PC. I'd like to play it on big screen in the dark.

I'll wait for PC. I prefer my horror games on PC. Being so close to the screen and all. ::

what difficulty are you playing on? I made a choice starting back with Crysis that I wouldn't play a game on anything but the hardest difficulty available... needless to say I might be regretting that pretty soon

My first time through I play every game on medium then move to hardest for my replay. I don't want to get frustrated with a game due to difficulty setting, if I do I will never go back to the game...

For the sequel I think they should add coop, this game screams it!

I always choose Medium or normal. That's usually what the dev intended. Also I'm like MagNuS as I don't like being frustrated on a new game.

Did you ever get past those Thesher Maws MagNuS?
